About Me

I joined Watermans in October 2010 and became Managing Director in January 2014. Watermans have gone from strength to strength in recent years, firmly establishing ourselves as one of the leading personal injury firms in Scotland and my role is to ensure that we continue to develop the business.

I have specialised in personal injury law since qualifying as a solicitor and have a wide range of experience in representing clients involved in Road Traffic Accidents, Accidents at Work, Public Liability, Occupier Liability and Product Liability claims.

I have particular expertise in dealing with serious and fatal injury claims and together with the rest of the team here work to ensure that accident victims and their families receive the compensation they deserve at the time when they need it most.

I am a member of the Association of Personal Injury Solicitors (APIL) and the Motor Accident Solicitor Society (MASS).

I enjoy both playing and watching football, going to the gym, travelling, and cooking.

Client testimonials

"Between Scott and Jonny, the attention to detail and the care taken to ascertain the full details of my case meant my confidence in the company was shown to be correct and any concerns I had were eased. All in, an excellent service and one that I would happily recommend to those who face a similar situation."
"My experience of Watermans is of a highly professional and personal exceptional company. I always felt part of a team, who genuinely cared about me as well as achieving the goal of a successful claim. I can only highly recommend Scott Whyte and his team to anyone considering companies to assist with any claims."
"I cannot recommend Watermans highly enough. I was advised of the progress of my claim every step of the way and Scott took the time to explain things to me in a way that I would understand. Personal claims can be highly emotive and it was great to feel that you had someone on your side, who sympathised with what you were going through."
