A team of daring staff members at Watermans Solicitors will take part in an adrenaline-pumping abseil from Scotland’s biggest stadium to help raise funds for one of their life-saving charity partners.
Twelve colleagues from the leading personal injury firm will abseil 135 feet from the towering stands at the home of Scottish Rugby to raise funds for Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA).
They are Scotland’s only charity air ambulance and rely on the support of members of the public for a large amount of their funding.
So far colleagues have raised an incredible £1610.00 towards the initiative to help ensure the life-saving work of the vital service.
Since August 2017, the SCAA benefited from over £11,000 through a number of initiatives thanks to Watermans support.
These included a three-year sponsorship of SCAA’S mascot ‘Scotty,’ which successfully achieved press and social media coverage and representing SCAA at 18 events across Scotland, from Edinburgh to Glasgow and from Royal Dornoch Golf Club to House of Bruar.
Money was also raised through free will writing services by sister company Watermans Legal, as well as donations being made to SCAA for every successful motorbike claim pursued through the legal fir, on behalf of someone who has been injured while out on their bike.
