About Heather.
I joined Watermans in January 2013 as a Trainee Solicitor and qualified as a Solicitor in March 2013.
I returned to my home city of Glasgow when the office opened in early 2015.
In January 2017 I was promoted to the post of Senior Solicitor.
In terms of my background I completed my law degree at Glasgow University and the Diploma in Legal Practice at the Glasgow Graduate School of Law.
I was thereafter employed as a Road Traffic Personal Injury Specialist for a large insurer and then a Personal Injury Claims Handler.
At Watermans I am involved in many types of personal injury cases including criminal injuries, medical/dental negligence, road traffic, employer’s liability, occupiers’ liability and public liability claims in both Sheriff Court and Court of Session actions.
Best Part of the Job
I really enjoy negotiating and thereafter hearing how delighted a client is with the settlement achieved. I am also very lucky to work in such a fantastic team of very supportive and experienced colleagues.
Hobbies & Interests
In my spare time I love movies, stand-up comedy and amateur dramatics/musical theatre. Since graduating from University I have been a volunteer with Victim Support Scotland where I assist victims of violent crime.
