Carly Walker

Carly joined Watermans in September 2023 as a solicitor within the Personal Injury team, having completed her LLB at Glasgow Caledonian University. Carly obtained her Diploma in Professional Legal Practice from The University of Strathclyde, and went on to qualify as a solicitor in September 2021 after successfully completing her traineeship.

"Outside of work, I enjoy going to football matches and concerts. An ideal weekend for me is a take-away and managing to find something good to watch on Netflix."

Best Thing About the Job

"A great part about being a solicitor is the variety of work I can get involved in. No two days are the same and I also enjoy the fact I get to appear in court as I have always been keen on advocacy. Being a personal injury solicitor is also a very fulfilling role because when you are dealing with a claim, no matter what kind, your client could be going through one of the most difficult times of their lives - and going through a life-changing experience due to their injuries. Being able to assist my clients and obtaining the result they deserve is very rewarding for me."
