Watermans are delighted to announce the appointment of Dianne Millen to the role of Head of Family Law.
The Leith-based firm, which was formed in 2017 following the acquisition of Wright & Co, has enjoyed rapid growth over the last 3 years and the appointment of Dianne as Head of Family Law represents another part of the Company’s strategic growth plan.
Announcing the appointment, Managing Director Scott Whyte said,
“I am delighted to welcome Dianne to the Watermans team. She is a high calibre Solicitor and is experienced in Family and Adults with Incapacity Law. Under her leadership I am confident that we can grow and develop our offering in these areas to both new and existing clients. Dianne’s appointment also underlines our commitment to grow the business both in terms of market share and expertise through a combination of staff development and external recruitment. Whilst we have enjoyed a successful period of growth since formation a little over 3 years ago, this is only just the beginning, and we are excited about what the future holds for our Family law team and Watermans as a whole.”
Dianne qualified as a solicitor in 2011. Before studying law she was a successful researcher and project manager in the public sector. Commenting on her appointment, Dianne said,

I am delighted to join a firm which combines a dynamic and entrepreneurial culture with a focus on ensuring quality service for clients. Dianne brings a wealth of experience and expertise in Family and Adults with Incapacity Law. She will work closely with Sarah Hay, Solicitor in Family Law and with the wider Watermans team.
