House Valuation Edinburgh Expert Tzana Webster Features in The Scotsman
Selling your home can seem like a monumental task, and with so many different estate agents and deals on offer, it can be hard to choose the right solicitor estate agent for you.
In The Scotsman’s Home & Gardens section on Saturday 29th of July, property editor Kirsty McLuckie delved into the factors you should take into account before choosing an estate agent to market your property for sale. In the piece, our own Tzana Webster, Watermans Director of Property Sales, explains why doing some research before you choose an estate agent can help you to achieve a better price for your property.
Although some estate agents seek out higher fees for their services, this may be reflected in their ability to achieve a higher sale value for your property. Tzana explained that “when choosing a fixed-fee agent, there is zero incentive for them to get you a higher price”, so often choosing an estate agent charging incentivised fees can work in your favour.
As well as this, it’s important to employ the services of a solicitor whose house valuation will be based on their local property knowledge, as well as the size and condition of your home.
