Watermans has jumped back in the pool with European and Commonwealth Champion swimmer Hannah Miley.
The personal injury firm has agreed a deal to extend their backing for Hannah as a member of their sports ambassador programme – which also includes boxer Lewis Benson and rally ace John MacCrone.
Scott Whyte, Managing Director of Watermans, said he was pleased to have Hannah on board again.
“After working with Hannah Miley in the build-up to the recent Olympic Games and witnessing first-hand her dedication to swimming, going forward to the next Commonwealth Games with her was a no-brainer.
“At Watermans we believe in helping Scottish athletes who display incredible drive, and few in sport have the same work ethic as Hannah. She’s met the staff at Watermans and we are all pulling for her to add to her already considerable haul of medals over the next 18 months.”
Hannah’s first year with Watermans saw her deliver a coaching session to hundreds of young swimmers in Grangemouth, and join fellow ambassador Lewis Benson at Lochend ABC in Edinburgh to learn the ropes of boxing. She was also turned into a superhero in the comic book series ‘Watergirl’ to celebrate her out-of-this-world commitment to being the best she can at her sport. She was then surprised at Aberdeen Airport by Samba dancers when heading out to Rio for the 2016 Olympic Games.
Hannah Miley said: “I have had lots of fun and professional satisfaction from working with Watermans so far, and the partnership has given me opportunities to do things I wouldn’t have otherwise had. I’m looking forward to creating lots of new memories, both in and out of the pool, between now and the Commonwealth Games in 2018.”
