Amal Karim
Solicitor
Amal's legal career began as a student at the University of Dundee, where she interned at a high street criminal law firm. She quickly realised that she loved court work and the fast-paced nature of litigation, and went on to complete her Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Aberdeen.
"Over the years, I have had the opportunity to work on both the pursuer and defender sides of personal injury cases, while also gaining experience in private client, real estate, and criminal law. My experiences during my traineeship taught me that my passion lies in civil litigation and personal injury."
"When I am not working, I enjoy spending time outdoors; travelling, camping, kayaking, and hillwalking. I also enjoy going to the gym and embracing anything spontaneous, but most of all I love spending quality time with my family and friends."
Best thing about your job
"One of the most rewarding aspects of my role is supporting clients through difficult periods in their lives, and helping them achieve the best possible outcome. I am looking forward to developing my advocacy skills, gaining further court experience and working alongside my new team!
