Watermans Trainee Robyn Lynch Celebrates Career Milestone

A Dunfermline local is celebrating a career milestone this week, having successfully completed her legal traineeship with Watermans!

Robyn Lynch, who achieved her law degree and Diploma from the University of Stirling and Robert Gordon University respectfully, celebrated with the team in Dunfermline this week as she concluded seven years of study to qualify as a solicitor.

Watermans Dunfermline Office

Specialising in road traffic accident claims, Robyn has now accepted a newly qualified solicitor position with Watermans and will continue to work from our Dunfermline office in Pitreavie Business Park.

Robyn has proven to be hard-working, adaptable, and dedicated, with former clients noting her going “above and beyond” to achieve the best outcome for them.

John Dillon, Director and Head of Dispute Resolution at Watermans, says:

“We are delighted that Robyn has accepted a newly qualified position with Watermans following the completion of her traineeship. Robyn showed great promise from the beginning, embracing every opportunity and working hard to provide the best service for her clients.”

John continued: “Robyn is a Dunfermline native (and a Pars season ticket holder!) and epitomises the talent that Fife has to offer. Opening our Dunfermline office at the beginning of this year gives us an opportunity to tap into the rich pool of legal and property sales talent in The Kingdom, forging new relationships with clients and colleagues alike.

“We are excited to see what the future holds for Robyn as she continues her legal career in Watermans Dunfermline office!”

Traineeships with Watermans

On her qualification, Robyn says:

“I am so pleased to have finally qualified after 7 (long!) years of studying, and I am delighted to have the opportunity to continue working as an NQ in the Watermans Dispute Resolution team in Dunfermline.”

“My favourite thing about my traineeship had to be the incredible support network in the firm. The hands-on approach that Watermans take with their trainees allows extensive development as a Trainee Solicitor, and makes the transition to being an NQ that much easier.”

Robyn continued

“The firm encourages me to strive to be the best I can be and that is an environment that I want to be a part of. Bonus points include working from our new Dunfermline office, dropping my previous commute from up to an hour to a lovely five-minute journey!”

“I enjoy the challenge of putting my clients back in a position they would have been in, had they not been unfortunate to suffer an accident through no fault of their own.”
