We have launched a campaign to find our next Sports Ambassador, calling all sports fans to help us identity Scottish rising stars.

Launched online Thursday 7th March the campaign seeks nominees, one of who will become a Watermans Sports Ambassador and receive sponsorship and support from the firm.

An all-star judging panel, including triple-Olympian and Commonwealth Games swimming star Hannah Miley and Terry McCormack, renowned boxing coach and founder of Lochend Boxing Club, will meet with a long-list of selected nominees to create a final shortlist, who will compete to win the sporting public’s support in a final part of the campaign.

We have a long-standing commitment to helping develop the next generation of Scottish sporting talent through its Sports Ambassador Programme. The previous Ambassadors have included Hannah Miley, rally driver John MacCrone and reigning Scottish Women’s Premier League champions Glasgow City FC.  The firm currently supports Lochend Boxing Club, with the support helping the Club develop a conveyor belt of talent, including Commonwealth stars Lewis Benson and Josh Taylor.
