Millie Brown

Millie played a variety of sports at school, but on reaching senior school she made the decision to pursue her dream of playing hockey for Scotland. Her talent and potential were recognised when she was selected as part of the U14 Mixed Scottish District hockey squad, leading to opportunities within the National hockey programs.

In 2013, Millie started studying Geography at Glasgow University, where she joined Milne Craig Clydesdale Western Hockey Club and was invited to join the Scotland Senior Women’s squad.

Five seasons later, Millie’s list of achievements is pretty impressive with 50 international senior caps. She has also competed in Hockey World Leagues in Brussels and Valencia, Rabo Euro Hockey Championships in Amsterdam, and the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games in Australia to name a few.

Apart from her sporting achievements, Millie is passionate about the environment with ambitions to pursue a career in environmental consultancy. She is hoping to be accepted on a Master’s programme in Sustainability and Climate Change at Imperial, UCL or Edinburgh University.
