Christy Guthrie

Christy joined Watermans in February 2021 as a Claims Handler before commencing her traineeship here in May 2021. She completed both her Law Degree and Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Dundee. Christy is part of the personal injury team. She is involved in several different types of cases including road traffic accidents, employers’ liability, occupiers’ liability, and medical negligence.

"In my spare time, I really enjoy going to the gym, going on walks and being in nature. All of these activities are so important for both mental and physical health and have such a positive impact on my mood and happiness. I also love reading and learning about the mind and body, and how our life experiences influence how we perceive the world."
